Rates

All rates are shown by using the Quick Quote function, they are valid if the booking is made at that time and no guarantee is made that the same rate will be offered again.

Payment

• To qualify for our low rates we must request that a deposit of $100.00 is made to secure the booking.
• This payment of $100.00 can be made using your credit card (Visa or Mastercard) in our secure online payment area (SSL). Use the Quick Quote form to supply information and to access Secure Payment Area.
• This payment will need to be made at least 7 days in advance of vehicle pick up date.
• For a Quick Quote with less than 7 days notice, a processing fee of $25.00 will apply. All amounts are shown in Australian dollars.
• The Balance of the rental and other associated costs including security deposit if applicable must be paid at least 7 days prior to vehicle pick up, unless arranged otherwise the applicable amount will be debited from the credit card nominated. If the rate is discounted, it may require pre-payment of the total amount upon booking.

Cancellation Fee

Rental Duration
A rental day is 24 hours from the time of pick up. Additional hours are chargeable at the rate of 1/3 (one third) of the days rental charge per hour up to three hours. After three hours another days rental fees will be payable. Timings start from ETA of flight. We are unable to offer any grace periods.

Damage Liability
Our rates are subject to the Damage Liability Excesses shown below,by payment of the daily ERW (excess reduction waiver) shown you may ,subject to the terms herein and on the rental agreement being met reduce your liability as shown.

A Security Deposit may be required to cover the chosen excess on the vehicle. This will need to be paid in Cash or AUD Travellers cheques on pick up. The amount will be advised on pick up and will range from between 50% and 100% of the chosen excess, this will be refunded at the conclusion of the rental providing no Damage, Cleaning, Late, or Fuel charges are payable. Due to our minimum cash handling policy as enforced by our insurers we reserve the right to refund by cheque. In most cases if the ERW is paid (see below) to reduce the Damage Liability Excess we will accept a credit card imprint, this also applies to our "Preferred" previous customers, however we are not able to accept a credit card imprint from first time customers if the excess is left at $5000. Also, we strongly recommend customers do reduce their excess, as if an uninsured driver causes the damage you may not be able to recover the costs, and other Insurance you may have may not cover you or take a long time to compensate you, especially if you are from overseas.

Any parking or traffic violation that the renter fails to settle direct will incur a service fee of $75.00 in addition to the stated penalty.

You are reminded that all underbody or overhead damage is at renters risk and in the event of the vehicle being driven on any unsealed road or surface or out of the area of authorised use as shown on the rental agreementthen the renter is liable for the total cost of both damage and associated costs.

Drivers License
We ask that you produce a current Australian, overseas or international drivers license which has been held for a minimum of two years. Minimum age (as above) is 21 years.

Fuel
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. We ask that renters refill the vehicle prior to return. Should vehicle not be returned with a full tank a service fee will apply for refuelling.

Child/Baby Seats
Approved Baby seats,and booster seats are available, subject to availibility at time of booking, please ensure request is made at that time.

Street Directories and Maps
We offer city street maps upon request at time of booking.

Fleet
All SEQ Rent A Car Online vehicles are purchased new and rarely is any vehicle kept for more than eighteeen months. Reservations must be made by group and SEQ Rent A Car Online reserves the right to substitute a similar model.

Office Hours
Most of our offices are open from 0800 to 1800, seven days a week. Pre-booked reservations will be initiated at airports at any time, 24 hours a day, providing flight details have been advised.

Airport Deliveries
In Australia, SEQ Rent A Car Online is a licensed off airport operator at Brisbane and Gold Coast airports. So we have what is known as the “Meet and Greet” system. This means that, as you disembark from the aircraft and clear customs, we have one of our representatives meet and greet you. At that point we do all of the normal paperwork which only takes a matter of minutes. You are well on your way to enjoying your holiday with a minimum of fuss. Our personalised service ensures you no longer have to wait in queues and then go searching for your vehicle. The meet and greet system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In some cases the vehicle will simply be left in our designated parking area at the terminal. Full details are given in your confirmation.

This operation also applies to domestic flights.

Hotel & Motel Deliveries
Vehicles will be delivered to all hotels and motels free of charge, within a 15 kilometre radius of the office during office hours. You will be picked up from accommodation and driven back to our office for completion of the paperwork. On completion of the rental you will be driven back to your accommodation.
